My name is Chris Brennan, and I'm a graphic designer & self-taught front-end developer. When I turned 18 I moved to Pittsburgh where I got my Bachelors degree in Graphic Design from The Art Institute of Pittsburgh. Before college, I grew up in the southwest, northwest and midwest regions of the country. I'm fortunate to say I can name multiple states as my home, but Phoenix, Arizona is where it all started for me.
While working as a graphic artist out of college, I began to dabble in HTML/CSS and was overwhelmed with the sea of learning resources available on the web. Dabbling soon became an obsession; instead of going out on weekends, I stayed inside following tutorials and creating web components.
Through tutorials, side projects, constant repetition, grit and hunger for knowledge, I transformed myself into a designer/developer hybrid who can utilize his skills to solve complicated yet fun problems.

Encourages people to think for themselves and look up into the stars.
Pays for kids to go to college in his hometown Akron, Ohio.
A typical day starts out with me waking up in the morning to design and code websites and then off to work from 12-6; serving fresh produce to the locals. After work, I come home to design and code, and do it all over again the next day.
This year I learned about Jekyll development. For the new year, I look forward to moving away from Jekyll and expanding my knowledge on WordPress theme development, php, and javascript. In the fast ever-changing world of technology and design, the desire to keep learning and growing is what continues to inspire me. I would be a great fit to learn alongside Imagebox's team of designers and developers. In return, I'll bring my keen eye for design, creative problem solving skills and css expertise to the table.
